Cut, fold, decode, deduce
Cutting, folding, holding a page to the light, decoding, deducing. Each game mixes its own, pitched at its own ages.
You do the part that makes it yours: print, cut, hide a few pieces, fill the envelopes, read the opening. The story, the puzzles, the hints and the finale are already written, so nobody spends evenings inventing them.
After payment you land on our thank-you page, and the files come to you by email. Every game is a set of PDFs on US Letter in colour and low-ink, with a start-here sheet. The Midnight Skyport also comes in A4 and as editable PowerPoint files.
The same locked-room idea, the same chain of puzzles and the same moment when something finally opens, but at your table and on your schedule. The host holds the hints instead of a game master behind a camera.
Print it as many times as you like for your own family, party or class. Reselling or sharing the files is not allowed. The Christmas game can come back every December, and the birthday game can come back for a younger sibling.
Questions
Yes, you can buy escape room kits as printable files. Each of our seven games is $12.99, and The Complete Escape Room Collection has all seven for $49.99. You pay online, the files come by email, and you print them at home on US Letter.
Yes, every game here is made to be printed at home. Each one comes as PDFs in colour and low-ink, to print single-sided at 100% / "Actual size". Print it as many times as you like for your own family, party or class. Reselling or sharing the files is not allowed.
A good at-home escape room kit names its ages and head count. It also comes with a host guide, graded hints and an answer key, and has a low-ink edition for your printer. Each of the seven games in this collection does, from a birthday game for ages 6–9 to a detective case for teens and adults.
The best escape room home game is the one written for your players. Pick by the youngest player and the head count first, then by the occasion. Our seven games each name both, from ages 6–9 at a birthday to teens and adults at a game night.
Our easiest game is Tumble and the Birthday Box, made for ages 6–9. Each player page has one to three short instruction lines, and the puzzles use pictures, colours, counting and matching. There is no timer and no way to lose.
For adults, our pick is The Halcyon Blackout, a detective case set in a 1962 hotel. It is for 2 to 8 players aged 13 and up, and the host can play too. Adults also play along in the Christmas game and the big-group game.
A printable escape room at home is the closest alternative to a booked venue. You get the same chain of puzzles and the same moment when something opens, at your own table. One price covers the whole group: $12.99 a game, or $49.99 for all seven.
